Virginia Mountaineer HORSESHOE pitching champion Bill Langford throws a ringer during Family Fun Day activities Saturday, August 15, 1981, at Oakwood, sponsored by the Buchanan Dickenson Shrine Club. Langford was the winner in both the singles and doubles events, walking away with $325 in prize money. Archery contests, pony rides and other events were held during the day.
