Golfers from across the region will have the opportunity to enjoy a day on the course while supporting the Buchanan County YMCA during the organization’s annual Golf Tournament on Friday, Aug. 14.
The tournament will feature a two-player captain’s choice format with four flights and will begin with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m.
The annual event serves as one of the YMCA’s fundraising efforts, helping support programs and services offered throughout the year to children, families and the community.
In addition to friendly competition on the course, participants will enjoy a buffet dinner following play. Trophies and special awards will be presented to top finishers, and golfers will also have the chance to compete for several hole-in-one prizes.
Tournament organizers encourage golfers of all skill levels to participate, noting the event is designed to provide an enjoyable day of competition while supporting the YMCA’s mission.
