Grundy fans were chanting “Lu- u u-ke”; Powell Valley defenders were crying “uncles”. Luke Dales punished more than a few defenders, played some great defense himself and added three touchdowns as Grundy won a battle of classic proportions, 35- 7, in non-district action Friday night at Nelson Memorial Field.
Twin Valley had it all working on the road Friday. The offense showed its power, and the defense pitched a shutout. Brit Coleman scored a pair of touchdowns as Twin Valley whipped Ervinton 20-0 in non- district action at Rebel Field at Nora Friday night. There was no secret what the Panthers (2-0) were going to do, but the Rebels (1-1) couldn’t stop Coleman or Jonathan Clifton once they got some room to run.
