
Buchanan County residents can celebrate a historic moment in local education as Southern Gap High School holds its ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Saturday, Aug. 29.
The celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the new school, located at 2021 Eagle Drive in Grundy.
The event will officially welcome Southern Gap High School to the community and give students, families and local residents an opportunity to see the new facility. The school brings students from the Council, Grundy, Hurley and Twin Valley communities together as the Southern Gap Eagles.
