The Buchanan County Public Library will help families say goodbye to summer and get ready for the new school year with an End of Summer Luau on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The tropical-themed celebration will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the library, located at 1185 Poe Town Road in Grundy.
The event will feature a fish tank game, limbo, library games, snacks and door prizes. Barbecue sliders and Hawaiian ice will also be served.
Visitors can update their library cards and learn about new resources available through the library as students and families prepare to return to school.
