God woke me up this morning, and I did go to church. Brother Eddie Wilson brought the message, Show Thy Marvelous Works.
He read Psalm 9:1-2, John 10:18, Matthew 21:42, Psalm 95:6 and John 4:24. I’m so glad I’m back in church today.
Amelia came up and spent the night with me again. I love having her here!
One of the kittens I was bottle-feeding died. It was not growing and was half the size of his sister. I buried him next to Minnie.
I went and helped the Humane Society get ready for the yard sale we’re having Saturday. I stopped at Double Kwik and got their lunch special, chicken and dumplings. They were delicious! I stopped on the way home at M&K Market and got straw for the dog houses and hay for Amos.
Saturday morning, I got up early, went to work at the yard sale, and found time to do a little shopping for myself. It was cool and rainy all day, and when I got home, I broke down and turned on the heat. I have to admit it felt better in the house.
Keep praying for me and my family. I’ve spoken to several other women who’ve lost their husbands, and I’ve discovered that everything I’m going through is all part of the grieving process. I’m still waiting for him to walk back in the door. That makes no sense, but that’s how it is.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:11 KJV
I am OK, I am Blessed…
