
From reviewing submissions to working with authors on their final drafts, students on the Appalachian Journal of Law will help shape the legal scholarship published by the Appalachian School of Law this year.
The school has announced the journal’s 2026-27 members. The student editors work with judges, professors, public figures and other contributors on articles examining legal issues.
Emma Duty will serve as editor-in-chief. The rest of the executive board includes Sydney Kimberlain, executive editor; Sehjal Kaur, senior articles editor; Samuel Sandler, managing editor; Le Solomon, senior notes and comments editor; Jeffrey Watkins, publications editor; Daniel Huff, symposium editor; and Jaxon Harris, online development editor.
Harry Austin, Jeree Davis and Madison Wallace are senior editors. The source editors are Zachary Coleman, Kai Bunch, Sana Fadah and Sabrina Aljamal.
Andrew Mackey, Travis Honaker and Gabrielle Boyles are style editors. Bo Hobgood, Tilanijha Dawson and Kinsey Sanders are footnote editors.
The journal’s editors also include Allie Minor, Fletcher Dalton, Tatum Damron, Layla Apo, Michael Rowe, Riley Petroski, Claudia Silva and Naidaly Gonzales Miranda.
Through their work with authors, the students will review and refine submissions for publication during the academic year.
