Southern Gap made it two Southwest District volleyball sweeps in three days, defeating Tazewell at home Sept. 22 before traveling to Richlands for another three-set win Sept. 24.
Against Tazewell, Bela Hurley handed out 10 assists, Leah Rasnake put down eight kills and Claire Griffey recorded 13 digs to lead the Eagles.
The Eagles carried that momentum on the road to Richlands. Rasnake had nine kills and eight digs, Adyson Bell added 10 assists, and Griffey led the defense with 25 digs as Southern Gap completed its second sweep of the week.
Across the two matches, Rasnake totaled 17 kills and Griffey collected 38 digs for Southern Gap.
