Heritage Hall Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is asking the community to help local students get ready for the new school year by donating school supplies during its Back-to-School Bash supply drive.
The community-wide effort is aimed at providing students with the basic classroom essentials they need to begin the 2026-27 school year with confidence. Heritage Hall officials are encouraging individuals, businesses and organizations to contribute new school supplies that will be distributed to local children.
Among the items being collected are backpacks, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, highlighters, glue sticks, scissors, pencil boxes or pouches, folders, dry-erase markers, tissues, hand sanitizer and index cards.
Organizers said even a single donated item can make a meaningful difference for a student and help ease the financial burden many families face as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
Community members may drop off donations at Heritage Hall at 2966 Slate Creek Road, Grundy.
