ON THE PICKET LINE at the East end of Weller Yard in mid-July of 1978 are four employees of the N & W Railroad. They are (left to right): Landon Davis, Jack Jennings, Freddie Dickie and James Miller. Jennings and Miller are members of the strike. Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks. Davis and Dickie are members of the United Transportation Union. The UTU is not on strike but is honoring the BRAC’s picket lines.
