The countdown is on for one of The CAM’s most anticipated summer traditions. Registration is now open for Acting Camp 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome young performers for four unforgettable days of creativity, confidence-building, and theatrical fun.
From July 20–23, children and teens ages 5–17 will step into the spotlight as they explore the world of acting through games, storytelling, dance movement, teamwork, and imagination. Best of all, the camp is completely free, thanks to the generous support of The United Company Charitable Foundation and volunteers who believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the arts.
This year’s camp will feature four exciting themed days designed to spark creativity and keep campers engaged from start to finish:
Day 1: Red Carpet Day
Campers will dress to impress and discover what it feels like to be a star. From dramatic entrances to performance games, we’ll kick off the week with plenty of Hollywood-style excitement.
Day 2: Safari Day
Adventure awaits as campers journey into the wild through acting challenges, creative activities, and animal-inspired fun.
Day 3: Under the Sea Day
We’ll dive beneath the waves for a day filled with imagination, colorful characters, and ocean-themed adventures.
Day 4: Around the World Day
The final day takes campers on a theatrical trip around the globe, exploring different cultures, stories, and traditions through performance and play.
To ensure every camper has an age-appropriate experience, participants will be divided into three groups:
Little Limelights (Ages 5–7)
Actonauts (Ages 8–11)
Drama Llamas (Ages 12–17)
Whether your child dreams of center stage or simply wants to build confidence, make new friends, and try something new, Acting Camp offers a welcoming environment where everyone can shine. Throughout the week, campers will develop communication skills, creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence while having an incredible amount of fun.
For many young people, Acting Camp is their first introduction to theatre. For others, it’s a chance to return each summer and continue growing as performers. Either way, campers leave with new skills, new friendships, and memories that last long after the final curtain call.
Space is limited and spots fill quickly each year, so families are encouraged to register early.
