I got to watch our church service live this morning. Brother Scotty Coleman brought the message. He read Mark 8:34-38, Romans 6:16-19, Romans 6:21-23, Colossians 2:6, Revelation 21:1-4 and Revelation 22:13. Good service!!
Harman Freewill Baptist Church has announced the dates for their upcoming Vacation Bible School. The theme is Glow Go Light Our World! It will be held July 26, 27 and 28th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Happy 49th anniversary to Ray and I.
We actually got out and had our anniversary lunch at Woodbooger in Pikeville. The food was so good, and we had enough left for supper.
I went to the store on Friday and left strict instructions for Ray not to leave the couch! Well, of course, he left the couch, but he did well. I got lunch, so I didn’t have to cook.
I made a Food City run Saturday afternoon. The Southern Gap Soaring Eagle Marching Band kids had a car wash/bake sale at Advance Auto Saturday afternoon, and I stopped and gave a donation. They found a little kitten in the trash! They rescued it, and one of the girls was taking it home. That’s a great bunch of kids!!
Feeding My Sheep had their food giveaway yesterday and today, and served 455 households!
Reminder: the mobile food truck, Feeding Southwest Virginia, an equal opportunity provider, will be at the Grundy Community Center on Wednesday, June 24th. The truck arrives about 9 a.m., and the giveaway starts about 10 a.m. This is a drive-thru event; stay in your car, and we will come to you.
