Our church is celebrating our graduates this morning so Amelia went with me to church.
Brother Gene Miller brought the message, God is able. He read Luke 10:38-42. He had a good message and is still going strong at 87!!
A young man came up and cut our weeds and I finally got the yard mowed. It looks so much better!
The Buchanan County Band left Monday for their trip to the beach. Amelia got to go and they all had such a good time! Safe travels for all!
Wednesday morning we left early headed to Kingsport for a doctor’s appointment. We stopped at Sam’s and Krispy Kreme (!!) and got there way too early. We didn’t have to wait too long and were on our way home before the actual appointment time.
We found out on the way to Kingsport we lost a friend and dear sister in our church. Pam Fields passed away at home this morning. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers.
Saturday morning finds me at Johnson City Medical Center with Ray. He had a bad fall and has eleven rib fractures, a nasty cut over one brow and two black eyes. We’re waiting on the doctor to make his rounds.

Reminder, the mobile food truck, Feeding Southwest Virginia, an equal opportunity provider, will be at the Council Park on Thursday June 11th. The truck arrives about 9:00 and giveaway starts about 10:00. This is a drive thru event, stay in your car, we will come to you.
