I didn’t get to church this morning. Brother Kenny Coleman brought the message: God has a plan for you and me. He read Jeremiah 29:11-13, Proverbs 16:9, and John 14:6. Have faith in him and trust that we will fulfill what he has in mind for us.
Brother Kenny testified about what God has done and continues to do for him. Brother Dennis came back to church after five months in the hospital! They’re both miracles!
Tuesday afternoon, I went to the Humane Society and worked putting out items for the next yard sale.
The yard sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our offices behind Grundy High School.
Thursday afternoon, I went back to the Humane Society and worked more on the yard sale coming up. I picked Amelia up from band practice, and she stayed the night with me.
Our little Chihuahua, Minnie, has been so sick and was getting more fragile by the day. She stopped eating 3 days ago but was still drinking water. I was up all night with her, just holding her and talking to her, and at 5:30 Friday morning she quietly went to sleep. My grandson had already dug the grave; I put her in Ray’s garden, and I covered her up. Ray loved that little dog, and she loved her Daddy.
I’ve had a couple of blessings and praise reports this week. Keep praying for me, please.
