Buchanan County residents are invited to share their ideas for the future of outdoor recreation during the Gateways to Adventure Outdoor Recreation Master Plan open house.
The community event will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Southern Gap Outdoor Adventures, 1124 Chipping Sparrow Road in Grundy.
Organizers hope to hear from residents about the outdoor activities, amenities and opportunities they would like to see developed throughout Buchanan County. Attendees can share their ideas while enjoying a community campfire and s’mores.
The event is free and open to the public.
Gateways to Adventure is a partnership involving Buchanan County, Friends of Southwest Virginia, the Cumberland Plateau Planning District Commission and SE Group.
