All Buchanan County Public Schools students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2026-27 school year, the school division announced.
Every school in the division will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision, a federal program implemented under the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.
Through the program, students attending Buchanan County schools may receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day without being charged. Families will not be required to complete free or reduced-price meal applications for their children to participate.
A copy of the school division’s meal policy is available for review at each school and through the central School Nutrition Office.
